Desert Sunset is a type of BIF (banded iron formation) with alternating layers of yellow  and red jasper and chert that resemble a colorful sunset in the desert. Sometimes black hematite might be present.

This stone is natural and has been collected, cut and tumble polished by us in Western Australia.
